Following our first look, a new trailer has landed for the next rom-com from Paul Weitz (About a Boy, Little Fockers), Admission. The project sees Tina Fey as a career-minded, middle-aged Princeton, admissions officer Portia Nathan and this new trailer highlights much more of her work process. Nathan’s world is turned upside-down when she visits a promising, but unorthodox, recruit named Jeremiah Balakian, played by Nat Wolf (New Year’s Eve).
Upon her visit to Balakian’s high school, which is run by Nathan’s former alum John Pressman (Paul Rudd). The admissions officer is taken by surprise when Pressman concludes that Balakian, the potential recruit, might just be the son Nathan gave up for adoption years ago. In the process Portman finds a new life and romance she never dreamed possible. Check out the new trailer below for the film that was adapted for the big screen by Karen Kroner (One True Thing) from Jean Hanff Korelitz’s best-selling novel of the same name.
Focus Features will distribute Admission on March 8th, 2013.
