According to Deadline Hollywood today actor Christoph Waltz, perhaps best known for his portrayal of Col. Hans Landa in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Basterds has been signed to play the villain Chudnofsky in the upcoming film adaption of The Green Hornet starring Seth Rogen. Waltz has yet to make a comment on his new role. Production on The Green Hornet began 2 weeks ago and is being directed by Michel Gondry.
When it was announced that Nic Cage had dropped out of the role I was worried as to who was going to replace him. I am now kicking myself for not thinking of Waltz. He is the perfect guy to play a comic book villain. Hell, he kind of already did in Basterds. I cant wait to see this film and hope to see some comments from the cast and crew soon.
