The July 2021 lineup for The Criterion Collection’s disc releases has been unveiled, featuring one expected but no less anticipated release: the new restoration of Andrei Tarkovsky’s masterpiece Mirror, which opened in Virtual Cinemas earlier this year.
Bill Duke’s neo-noir Deep Cover, starring Laurence Fishburne, is also coming to the collection, along with the Alain Delon- and Romy Schneider-led La piscine, and Lizzie Borden’s Working Girls. The Howard Hawks classic Bringing Up Baby will also finally be getting a Blu-ray upgrade.
Check out the covers below, along with our Intermission conversation on Mirror with Michael Snydel and Logan Kenny, and see more on Criterion’s site.
