It’s no wonder that Yann Martel‘s novel Life of Pi took over a decade to finally makes its way to the big screen. Met with praise at New York Film Festival (including our own), director Ang Lee‘s most ambitious undertaking yet is ready to arrive in theaters next month and today a new featurette arrives diving into the challenges of the production.

Titled Impossible Journey, we hear from Martel and Lee themselves on the struggles to bring this story of a boy and a tiger to theaters. With new behind-the-scenes footage, including a glimpse at the early stages of our CG tiger, this pieces gives us an inside look at just how extensively detailed this project is. Synopsis:
