Redford directs James McAvoy as attorney Frederick Aiken.
Collider has informed us of several new pictures from the set of Robert Redford‘s The Conspirator. James McAvoy will star in the film as an attorney who is forced to defend Mary Surratt (Robin Wright), one of the accomplices in the conspiracy behind Abraham Lincoln’s assassination.
The film also co-stars Evan Rachel Wood, Justin Long, Alexis Bledel, and Toby Kebbell. The Conspirator is currently without a distributor, but all signs point towards it getting one in the near future.

Toby Kebbell plays John Wilkes Booth in The Conspirator, though the movie is more about those who may have aided the character.
