With Sally Draper behind her, Kiernan Shipka, like the rest of her Mad Men castmates, are transitioning to various roles with their newfound freetime. Her latest is One & Two — which sees her sharing some actual screentime with Mad Mad co-star Elizabeth Reaser — a supernatural drama from director Andrew Droz Palermo (Rich Hill) following two siblings with special powers that plot their escape and vengeance on their religious father.
We said in our review, “Many might want to draw on a feature like M. Night Shyamalan’s The Village to compare this drama to because of the shut-off nature, but where that film was about leaving behind societal and cultural demons, one gets the sense that this seclusion is something altogether different.
