This past weekend at Comic-Con footage from Cloverfield director Matt Reeves‘ upcoming remake of Let The Right One In, Let Me In, screened to excellent response. The original is one of my favorites of the last decade as well as Reeves first film so I’m very much looking forward to the remake. It stars Kodi Smit-McPhee, Chloe Moretz and Richard Jenkins.

This new trailer continues to prove they are following the original’s look with extreme precision. Some of the photography here, dare I say, looks better. Check it out below as well as two new posters.

Plot: An alienated 12-year-old boy befriends a mysterious young newcomer in his small New Mexico town, and discovers an unconventional path to adulthood in Let Me In, a haunting and provocative thriller written and directed by filmmaker Matt Reeves.

Let Me In hits theaters October 1st, 2010.

Will this be a worthy remake?
