Don’t have too high expectations for the Arrested Development movie. Creator Mitch Hurwitz spoke at the Television Critics Awards (via LiveFeed) and said the film will “not be a big money maker” but rather “fun, like a family reunion.”

He said they are “halfway through” writing it and he “really wants to do it.” The “only stumbling block could be scheduling. Everybody wants to play together.”

Although Arrested Development is my all-time favorite TV show, even I have grown tired of the constant movie talks. I won’t believe it until I’m in the theater and the credits roll. If you want some more Hurwitz in your life (along with Will Arnett and David Cross) you can check out their new show Running Wilde on Sept. 21st on Fox.
