David Fincher is currently working on an adaptation of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo with Steve Zaillian, who is writing the screenplay. Now if those two names weren’t enough to turn your head here’s another bombshell. Daniel Craig is in talks to play the lead role.According to Deadline, Mr. Craig is in talks currently to play the lead role in the upcoming thriller. While Mr.Craig would be free to shoot the film since his Bond movie got delayed, there might be an issue. The source material for the film is a trilogy. This means Craig would most likely have to sign on for all three films. Can he do this with his commitment to the Bond series?
To be honest, the name David Fincher and the genre thriller is enough to make me want to see this film on day one. This man can do no wrong, his filmography is superb and I’m sure he won’t let us down with this film.
