While some franchise hopefules struggle to even spawn a sequel, somehow, someway the Fast and the Furious franchise is on its seventh iteration with more to come. With Justin Lin out as director, spending time on True Detective, the reigns were handed over to horror aficionado James Wan (The Conjuring, Insidious, Saw), and today we have a new three-minute trailer.
Featuring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Elsa Pataky, Lucas Black, Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey, Nathalie Emmanuel, Kurt Russell and Jason Statham, the trailer packs some high-flying stunts and should kick off the (early) summer season right.
