Proving he can carry a film virtually on his own as of late with American Sniper, Bradley Cooper will get another chance to prove it shortly. After being delayed from last fall, the latest film from Almost Famous director Cameron Crowe will finally be arriving this summer. Recently titled Aloha, we now have the first trailer.
Also starring Emma Stone, Rachel McAdams, Bill Murray, John Krasinski, Danny McBride, and Alec Baldwin, we’re introduced to the story of a military contractor who returns to Hawaii for a job and finds romantic interests. If you’re a fan of Crowe’s warm, agreeable style, as I am, this looks to be a promising option amidst the summer tentpole mayhem. Check out the first trailer below for one of our most-anticipated films of the year.
In Aloha, a celebrated military contractor (Bradley Cooper) returns to the site of his greatest career triumphs – the US Space program in Honolulu, Hawaii – and reconnects with a long-ago love (Rachel McAdams) while unexpectedly falling for the hard-charging Air Force watchdog (Emma Stone) assigned to him. From Academy Award®-winner Cameron Crowe, the writer-director behind such films as Jerry Maguire and Almost Famous, Aloha also stars Bill Murray, John Krasinski, Danny McBride, and Alec Baldwin.
Aloha opens on May 29th.
