With Iron Man 3 successfully kicking off the summer blockbuster season to the tune of what will easily be over $1 billion in box office (and providing a solid movie to boot), it’s now time for the rest of the studios to follow suit. While we’re not sure how Baz Luhrmann‘s The Great Gatsby will fare for Warner Bros. this weekend, the next month is sure to give them a massive hit with Man of Steel.
Directed by Zack Snyder, we’ve now got a new TV spot from the Superman reboot, which begins with some advice from a fatherly Kevin Costner, then transferring to some major action, featuring Michael Shannon as General Zod, high-flying planes, Lois Lane in peril and much more. Check it out below, along with a new banner featuring Henry Cavill.
Man of Steel opens on June 14th.
