After his feature-length Google ad was one of the summer’s biggest disappointments, Vince Vaughn is trying to bounce back this fall with a film that will hopefully have a little more heart to it, or at the very least, some laughs. We recently got a teaser for his next project, Delivery Man, but now a full-length trailer has landed.
Directed by Ken Scott, who is remaking his own 2011 Canadian hit Starbuck, the film follows Vaughn as a man who was once a sperm donor and now has 533 biological children, a portion of whom that want to know his true identity. With a nice blend of comedy and seemingly touching moments, one can’t go wrong with Chris Pratt in a major supporting role, so perhaps this could be a Thanksgiving surprise. Check out the new full-length look below for the film also starring Cobie Smulders and Britt Robertson.
Synopsis:
From DreamWorks Pictures comes “Delivery Man,” the story of affable underachiever David Wozniak, whose mundane life is turned upside down when he finds out that he fathered 533 children through sperm donations he made twenty years earlier. In debt to the mob, rejected by his pregnant girlfriend, things couldn’t look worse for David when he is hit with a lawsuit from 142 of the 533 twenty-somethings who want to know the identity of the donor. As David struggles to decide whether or not he should reveal his true identity, he embarks on a journey that leads him to discover not only his true self but the father he could become as well.
Delivery Man opens on November 22nd.
