With acclaimed films such as The Tree of Life, Entertainment, Joe, and Mud on his resume, Tye Sheridan is now venturing into studio entertainment. Ahead of next year’s blockbuster X-Men: Apocalypse, the actor will take part in a smaller project. Arriving just in time for Halloween, Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse comes from director Christopher Landon, showing off a more comedic side than his last film, Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones.
As the official synopsis reads, “Three scouts and lifelong friends join forces with one badass cocktail waitress to become the world’s most unlikely team of heroes. When their peaceful town is ravaged by a zombie invasion, they’ll fight for the badge of a lifetime and put their scouting skills to the test to save mankind from the undead.” Also starring David Koechner, Cloris Leachman, Halston Sage, Logan Miller, Joey Morgan, and Sarah Dumont, the red band trailer and clips features such horrifying things as zombie boobs and undead cats. We’re still not quite sure what to make of it, but one can check out the videos below.
Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse opens on October 30th, 2015.
