As stated in yesterday’s 10 Films to See in January article, we will be compiling a thorough list of our most-anticipated 2012 films later this month. One title that’s almost certain to make some buzz — though, I should confess, not on my personal ballot — is Marc Webb‘s The Amazing Spider-Man. I have nothing but praise for Webb‘s debut, (500) Days of Summer, and the same goes for the film’s cast, which includes Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, and the vastly undervalued Rhys Ifans (Greenberg, Anonymous). But something about that trailer — I don’t know, it just doesn’t compute for me at the moment.

In any case, two rather mundane stills from the film have debuted, which can be seen in full-size glory below. The film hits theaters on July 3. [SuperHeroHype]

Another project picking today to debut some new production stills is David Barrett‘s Fire with Fire, which, despite starring Josh Duhamel, Bruce Willis, and Rosario Dawson, is probably a lot lower on people’s must-see agendas. The film’s screenplay comes from first-timer Tom O’Connor. Check out a sample of the pics below, and click through to the following link to see the rest. [Moviehole]

What do you think of the new stills?
