It was a surprise last month when Toronto International Film Festival chose an American film, one in the action sci-fi genre no less, for their opening feature. But the decision gives added credence to Looper, the third film from Rian Johnson (Brick, The Brothers Bloom). Now, with a premiere set for just under over a month and less than two until it hits theaters, we’re starting to see more for the film. Today, Total Film has delivered a neat, blue-tinted quad poster that sees our lead Joseph Gordon-Levitt next to his older self, Bruce Willis. As a lover of Johnson’s earlier films, let’s hope The Dark Knight Rises gave JGL a little bump and this seemingly smart sci-fi feature can land with audiences. Check out the poster below for the film also starring Emily Blunt and Jeff Daniels.
Looper hits theaters on September 28th.
