The first trailer seemed to tell us just about everything we needed to know going into Brad Anderson‘s kidnapping thriller The Call, but with the film hitting theaters in less than a month with seemingly little buzz, the studio has now delivered another look. Starring Halle Berry as a 911 operator who gets a call that gets her involving in a kidnap involving a teenage girl (Abigail Breslin), it more or less looks like your generic B-movie, but with the involvement of The Machinist and Session 9 director, hopefully there’s a bit more fun to be had. Check it out below for the film also starring Michael Imperioli and Morris Chestnut.
When veteran 911 operator, Jordan (Halle Berry), takes a life-altering call from a teenage girl (Abigail Breslin) who has just been abducted, she realizes that she must confront a killer from her past in order to save the girl’s life.
The Call opens March 15th, 2013.
