The intriguing teaser trailer for the Strause Brothers (Aliens Vs. Predators: Requiem) showed promise, but lacked any sort of footage regarding characters. With hesitation, I was looking forward to see what they could do but wasn’t expecting much.
Now, Apple has debuted the latest trailer for this sci-fi invasion flick that is considerably low-budget compared to the rest in the genre. It was shot completely around their apartment and relied on heavy visual effects post work. The trailer reveals the plot is an amalgamation of Independence Day, Cloverfield and many other films of its kind but it looks surprisingly fun. I adored Cloverfield and while this doesn’t have the docu-style it looks to have the same close perspective I loved about Matt Reeves‘ film.
