This Sunday evening we have the first teaser posters for the next installments in two big comedy franchises, both written by Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg. First up is the teaser poster for American Pie 4 aka American Reunion. The Universal release brings back all the stars from the 1999 hit, including Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Chris Klein, Alyson Hannigan, Mena Suvari, Shannon Elizabeth, Tara Reid, Jennifer Coolidge, Natasha Lyonne and Eugene Levy. Check it out below via Latino Review for the film also directed by the writing duo.
Synopsis:
It was summer 1999 when four small-town Michigan boys began a quest to lose their virginity. In the years that have passed, Jim and Michelle married while Kevin and Vicky said goodbye. Oz and Heather grew apart, but Finch still longs for Stifler’s mom. Now these lifelong friends have come home as adults to reminisce about—and get inspired by—the hormonal teens who launched a comedy legend.
American Reunion hits on April 6th, 2012. Although they also wrote it, the duo didn’t direct A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas. Todd Strauss-Schulson helmed the third entry into this series and after a crazy trailer, we also have a teaser poster for the film starring John Cho, Kal Penn, Paula Garcés, Danneel Harris, Tom Lennon, Danny Trejo, Elias Koteas, Eddie Kaye Thomas, David Krumholtz, Patton Oswalt and Neil Patrick Harris. Check it out below.
Synopsis:
After years of growing apart, Harold Lee and Kumar Patel have replaced each other with new friends and are preparing for their respective Yuletide celebrations. But when a mysterious package mistakenly arrives at Kumar’s door on Christmas Eve, his attempt to redirect it to Harold’s house ends with the “high grade” contents — and Harold’s father-in-law’s prize Christmas tree — going up in smoke. With his in-laws out of the house for the day, Harold decides to cover his tracks, rather than come clean. Reluctantly embarking on another ill-advised journey with Kumar through New York City, their search for the perfect replacement tree takes them through party heaven — and almost blows Christmas Eve sky high.
A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas hits theaters on November 4th, 2011.
