If you haven’t gotten your fill of Greek gods with Percy Jackson and the Olympians or Clash of the Titans, fear not, movie-goer, Tarsem Singh‘s Immortals is just around the corner. Filmonic has released photos via IAmRogue, giving us our first peek at the latest film from the man behind The Fall and The Cell. While those two films are both visually stunning, these photos don’t reveal much of the same, as they simply let us know that we’ll be seeing a film starring Mickey Rourke, Freda Pinto and Henry Cavill. Taken from a handful of production videos, the stills feature Rourke looking as grim and gruff as ever, a jacked Cavill wielding a sword, and Pinto looking gorgeous as usual:

Immortals follows Theseus (Cavill) as he leads men into battle with the Greek gods against the fabled Titans. The film features Rourke as King Hyperion, Pinto as the oracle Phaedra, Stephen Dorff as Stavros, a master thief, John Hurt as an incarnation of Zeus, Kellan Lutz (of Twilight fame) as Poseidon and Isabel Lucas (Transformers 2) as Athena. Save Rourke, Pinto and Hurt, the roster leaves a bit to be desired, but if Singh’s previous films are any indication, Immortals should at least prove to offer us some exceptional eye candy.

What do you think of these photos? Are you eager to see more of Singh’s Immortals?
