With a final reveal of titles for Toronto International Film Festival 2012, comes another batch of new looks. First up we’ve got our first peek at Penn Badgley donning the shoes (and guitar) of the late Jeff Buckley. Directed by Dan Algrant, Greetings from Tim Buckley follows the young singer and “his struggle to make peace with his late father Tim’s legacy while preparing to perform at a tribute concert to the late singer-songwriter, in this stirring drama about the prelude to the tragically short-lived singer’s creation of his monumental album Grace.” Also starring Imogen Poots, you can check out the stills above and below.

We’ve also got the first two looks at Henry Alex Rubin‘s follow-up to the Oscar-nominated Murderball, as he heads into the narrative dramatic field with Disconnect. One can see stars Jason Bateman, Hope Davis, Paula Patton and Alexander Skårsgard below in the film that “explores the impact of the internet on our daily lives through a series of gripping, cunningly interwoven parallel narratives.” The drama also stars Frank Grillo, Michael Nyqvist, Andrea Riseborough, Max Thieriot, Colin Ford, Jonah Bobo and Norbert Leo Butz.

TIFF kicks off on September 6th.
