With TIFF 2012 officially kicking off (follow our complete coverage here), it means the unveiling of many films that have gotten next to no publicity thus far — and today, we’ve got our first footage of three of them. First up, we have our first look at the four players that make up  Yaron Zilberman‘s A Late Quartet – Philip Seymour Hoffman, Catherine Keener, Christopher Walken and Mark Ivanir  – as one of them (Walken)  reveals he has been diagnosed with Parkinson. Imogen Poots and Wallace Shawn also make up the supporting cast.

There’s also the first clip for Neil Jordan‘s Ondine follow-up, the vampire tale Byzantium. Here we can see Saoirse Ronan dropping off one of her victims in a surprisingly poignant clip. Perhaps this is one tale on the blood-sucking creatures that will prove to be worthwhile. The film also stars Caleb Landry-Jones, Gemma Arterton, Sam Riley, Jonny Lee Miller and Daniel Mays.

And lastly, we’ve got footage from the next Colin Firth drama, Arthur Newman. We provided the first stills awhile back, but now the clip sees the Best Actor winner paired with the charming Emily Blunt in the Dante Ariola drama. This one follows Firth as “a depressed divorce faking his own death and adopting a new identity,” who then “meets a troubled young woman (Blunt) who spurs him on to new heights of playacting during a cross-country spree of life-swapping and bed-hopping.” Check out all the clips below thanks to Guardian and Empire.

A Late Quartet, Byzantium and Arthur Newman all premiere at TIFF, while A Late Quartet slides into theaters on November 2nd. No distribution has been announced for the others.
