AICN caught up with actor Tim Roth while he was promoting the new season of his FOX show Lie To Me. During the interview he confirmed that Marvel had signed him for three films as Emil “Abomination” Blonsky  when he was cast in The Incredible Hulk. This means he will be in the next Hulk film and most likely in the upcoming Avengers film set for release in 2012. Director of the first film Louis Leterrier has yet to be signed on for the sequel. It is also rumored that star Edward Norton will be making a cameo appearance as Bruce Banner at the end of  Iron Man 2 similar to what Robert Downey Jr. did at the end of the last Hulk film. This cameo would serve as part of the set up for the Avengers film.

I am very happy to hear this. I loved Roth’s performance in The Incredible Hulk and I thought Abomination was a fantastic villain. I hope Roth brings the energy back in his next performance as Blonsky that he had in the first film. Hopefully Roth and Norton will have more screen time in the sequel as well.

Are you looking forward to seeing Roth again in a Hulk film?
