He’s had Bruce Willis, Sean Penn, Jon Hamm, Jennifer Lawrence, Anne Hathaway, Justin Bieber, Michael Cera, and many more guests in his nearly 20 episodes, but for Zach Galifianakis‘ latest Funny or Die-produced Between Two Ferns, he’s received his most prestigious guest yet. President Barack Obama stopped by the show a few weeks ago and now their interview is live.
With much of the awkward banter one might expect is included, Obama joins in on the fun, but also finds time to highlight his health care initiative. As for how they made the connection, Mike Farah, the executive producer of the show, said the White House approached them with the idea last summer. “I have to give the president credit that they were willing to trust us,” he told the New York Times. “They were definitely easier than working with most Hollywood publicists.” Check out the episode below.
