After removing Jurassic Park 4 from their 2014 calendar, Universal Pictures is figuring out what their major films of that respective summer will be. With Fast & Furious 7 hitting in July, they’ve recently acquired another sequel to add to their slate. But first, Coming Soon stopped by this year’s Licensing Expo (where studios go to get lucrative tie-in deals with all their major properties) and spotted the below poster for Colin Trevorrow‘s Jurrasic Park 4, confirming it will land sometime in 2015 (they also say it’ll be in 3D, obviously).

Moving on, the studio recently acquired the long-rumored Dumb and Dumber To and now we’ve got more details on the project. /Film picked up a conversation co-director Peter Farrelly had while on The Nerdist Podcast, confirming a summer 2014 release date is in the cards, following a shoot that begins in August in Atlanta, Georgia. Jim Carrey, Jeff Daniels and Harland Williams are all set to return and Farrelly even says his script  is “a little masterpiece.”

He adds, “It’s so good, I think it makes the first one better. We ook two years to work on this script. We didn’t want to do it unless it was as good as the first one. We just didn’t want to tarnish the first one, and you know, we didn’t do Dumb and Dumberer — that was done by [WB?] — which is one reason they didn’t want to do this because they did that and it didn’t work.” He even talks about the plot, which is said to involve one of the character’s kidney problems and going on an adventure to find one of their children to assist. See his quote below.

“We start in Rhode Island and we pick up today and explain what they’ve been doing the last 18 years. And there is something that happens and we get off to the races quickly. When you see Dumb and Dumber To, Dumb and Dumber 1 is better because you learn things in Dumb and Dumber To that you knew in Dumb and Dumber 1 but hadn’t put together. For instance, not giving away too much, Harry always gets revenge. And when you see the second one, it has a thing that you won’t see coming , and at the end of it, you’ll be like ‘oh my god, I just fell for the exact same thing.'”

Which of the above sequel are you most looking forward to?
