After crafting the decent remake Quarantine and helming the best thing M. Night Shyamalan has been involved with in some time (Devil), brothers John Erick Dowdle and Drew Dowdle are back with a new thriller. One of two films in post-production from the duo (the other being the bigger budget Owen Wilson-led The Coup), As Above, So Below tracks a group of explorers venturing into the catacombs beneath Paris. Ahead of an August release, the first trailer and poster have now landed, which can be seen below for the film starring Perdita Weeks, Ben Feldman, and Edwin Hodge.
In the psychological thriller, miles of twisting catacombs lie beneath the streets of Paris, the eternal home to countless souls. When a team of explorers ventures into the uncharted maze of bones, they uncover the dark secret that lies within this city of the dead. A journey into madness and terror, As Above, So Below reaches deep into the human psyche to reveal the personal demons that come back to haunt us all.
As Above, So Below opens on August 15th.
