Although a release is still a couple of months away, Ben Stiller’s remake of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty recently hit the festival circuit, first stopping at New York Film Festival. Following the star-director as a daydreaming magazine photo manager who embarks on an adventure to find a missing negative, our review said, “unabashedly nice, crowd-pleasing, and earnest, the movie’s globe-spanning scale is perhaps too daunting a task for Stiller’s modest formal ambitions.”

After 20th Century Fox let loose a full-length trailer last week, we’ve now got an extended look coming from the U.K., who have delivered a trailer clocking in at three minutes. While the latter half of the preview reveals much of the same footage, at the beginning we’re treated to what looks to be the first daydream from our star, as he makes a leap to save Kristen Wiig‘s dog. Check it out below.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty opens on December 25th.
