‘The Fighter’ Will Now Strike A Blow December 10th

David O Russell's highly anticipated film, The Fighter, starring Mark Wahlberg now has a confirmed released from Paramount Pictures. The film will hit theatres on December 10, 2011. Right now there is one other fairly big film opening that day. The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader also will open December 10, 2011. As The Playlist points out though, the competition should be too much of an issue....

Diary Of A Wimpy Kid Sequel Fast Tracked, Set For March 2011 Release

Today we get news that a sequel for the film Diary of A Wimpy Kid, has been fast tracked and is looking at a March 2011 release. The first film was filmed for $15 million and went onto gross around $64 million so it was no surprise that the sequel would be fast tracked. The Playlist tells us that the sequel will be called "Diary of Wimpy Kid 2: Roderick Rules"....
