Celebrating his 50th birthday today, the inventive Michel Gondry has carved out a prolific career in Hollywood. Coming from the music video realm, he gave us the remarkable Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless (perhaps hitting a bar he has yet to return to) and even jumped into studio fare with The Green Hornet. While we’re still awaiting the release of his latest project Mood Indigo, to commemorate the day, we’re sharing a great 90-minute discussion between Gondry and esteemed critic Jonathan Rosenbaum.
