Jared Leto’s Battle With the Music Industry Showcased In Trailer For ‘Artifact’

Written by on November 21, 2013

After taking a breaking from the acting world the last few years, Jared Leto is back in the spotlight this fall. We finally saw the U.S. debut of his overlooked, ambitious sci-fi drama Mr. Nobody, but more is being discussed regarding his performance in Dallas Buyers Club, which we said was the heart and soul of the film.

When we sat down with the actor at TIFF he revealed those won’t be the other films he’ll be featured in, as his documentary Artifact, which chronicles his band, 30 Seconds to Mars, and the struggle with their own record label, will see a release. Directed by Bartholomew Cubbins (Leto’s director pseudonym), the trailer for the TIFF audience winner has dropped and while it’s clearly a must-see for fans, it’s angle on this battle that many other bands are going through piques our interest. Check it out below and let us know your thoughts.

Artifact hits VOD on December 3rd.
