The film plot is as follows (from the official site): Reluctantly shopping for wedding rings, a young couple (Jason Mewes & Samantha Lockwood) unintentionally become the only eyewitnesses to a jewelry store heist gone awry as rival gunmen (Paul Sloan, Nick Turturro) turn on each other. Desperate to rectify the botched job, an underground mob boss (Danny Trejo) dispatches a mysterious hit man to find the soon-to-be husband and wife and clean up the mess. Seemingly at random, two brothers (Nic Nac Nicotera, Mike Hatton) find themselves stranded on their way to work after a series of misfortunes leaves them in a precarious predicament. Eventually forced to hitchhike, they find a ride from none other than our young engaged couple. But as the night unfolds everyone quickly discovers that their lives are somehow connected. And as bullets fly and plots thicken, what follows is a night of thugs, guns, laughs and love in an action-packed romp as seen through the eyes of talented writer/director Christian Sesma.

Now I am willing to bet that almost none of you have heard of this film. I didn’t even know of it until today. I only knew that Jason Mewes was filming a new movie that had nothing to do with the View Askew team. I must say after seeing the trailer that I am looking forward to seeing this whenever it drops. It really looks like Mewes is trying to break his Jay persona. He succeeded a little bit in Zack and Miri Make A Porno as the lovable but short minded Lester. But any astute viewer would see that, that role was just Jay with shorter hair. Mewes really looks like he made the character his own without falling back on his usual tricks. Not to mention what looks like a great cast surrounding him, including the ever popular Danny Trejo. Noting in regards to a release date have been released. This film looks like it might hit the festival circuit before reaching a wider audience.
