Yesterday David Gordon Green’s third studio comedy in row upped the foul-mouth ante, as we saw the filthy red band trailer for The Sitter. After a sublime early directing career with a few of the finest dramas we’ve gotten this last decade, Green is continuing his path after Pineapple Express and Your Highness with this Jonah Hill comedy.

20th Century Fox has now given us an all-audience green band trailer, that has less orgasms and f-words. The structure is still the same, but they’ve added the always safe poop jokes. While I laughed quite a bit yesterday, my interest may be starting to slip. If Green can give us a Superbad/Pineapple Express psuedo-sequel, I’m still on board, but these new jokes do nothing for me. Check out the new trailer below via Yahoo for the film also starring Sam Rockwell, Max Records, Kevin Hernandez, Landry Bender, J.B. Smoove and Method Man.

Synopsis:

Follows a slacker college student (Hill) who winds up with more than he bargained for when he agrees to babysit two neighborhood kids.

The Sitter hits theaters December 9th, 2011.
