House arrest/actual jail time hasn’t (and apparently will not) prevent filmmaker Roman Polanski from getting his newest film, The Ghost Writer, off the ground and into theaters.

Summit Entertainment is helping with the theaters part. Variety reported that Summit is planning a limited domestic release on February 19, to be “expanded again on March 5 and again on March 19.”

The film stars Pierce Brosnan and Ewan McGregor as a former British Prime Minister and the ghost writer hired to pen his memoirs, respectively. The ghost writer finds things that are not so appropriate to write about, it seems, putting his life in danger with the discovery. Based on the novel “The Ghost,” by Robert Harris.

An intriguing premise adapted by one of the most intriguing film personalities alive, Summit cannot release this thing soon enough.
