Courtesy of Ministry Of Cinema, they’ve produced and released a six-part video series titled The Time of World Cinema that gives a one-hour overview on the birth and evolution of the medium.

With the chapters Pre-Classical Cinema, Rise Of The Studio System, The Golden Age Of Hollywood, The Foreign Wave, New Hollywood and Contemporary Cinema, it sways heavily towards the studio side of things, but is a fairly zippy, well-constructed series.
