Joss Whedon‘s role in the Marvel Universe is like a black hole, sucking up new projects left and right. Earlier this month it was reported that Joss was going to direct The Avengers, the story of Marvels finest teaming up as one big group, but now it seems he has taken the script mantel. Pajiba reports that he is in talks to rewrite ‘Avengers’ to better suite his directing style. Not only that, but he also might do polishes on The First Avenger: Captain America.
Joss’ writing style is superb (Alien: Resurrection fell out of his hands) which will only compliment his own direction technique. It would also make a better bridge between ‘Captain America’ and ‘Avengers’. So far, it seems that these group of projects are moving along quite well. All this will only add to Joss’s gigantic fan base.
