If True Detective was Vince Vaughn‘s return to drama, the actor is now testing his action-thriller skills with a new film this spring, Term Life. Teaming with True Grit‘s Hailee Steinfeld, the film follows the two as a father-daughter duo who go on the run, with Vaughn’s wanted character having to live for at least 21 days in order to take out a life insurance policy for his daughter.
The first trailer has now landed today, and coming from Peter Billingsley (Couples Retreat), it looks like direct-to-DVD material, but it is in fact getting a little theatrical release. Also starring Bill Paxton, Jonathan Banks, Mike Epps, Jon Favreau, Jordi Molla, Shea Whigham, William Levy, Taraji P. Henson, Annabeth Gish, Terrence Howard, and Cain Velasquez, check out the trailer and poster below.
Term Life opens on on April 8th in theaters and hits VOD on March 1st.
