One of our top independent films to see this summer, the next drama from Happiness and Life During Wartime director Todd Solondz has a new trailer to go along with its summer distribution. Featuring an unlikely  romance between a lovable outcast (Jordan Gelber) and introverted woman (Selma Blair), the film looks to be the most upbeat effort from Solondz in quite some time. I’m loving the darker comedy on display here and the strong cast including Christopher Walken, Mia Farrow, Justin Bartha and Aasif Mandvi. The director captures awkward, fully, fleshed-out character and situations like few others and can’t wait to see this one, as I unfortunately missed it at TIFF last fall. Check out the new trailer below via The Playlist.

Dark Horse hits theaters June 8th.
