Chances are you haven’t seen Snabba Cash. The drug crime film from Swedish director Daniel Espinosa was sitting on the shelf of The Weinstein Company for a few years. But with news that they’ll release it this summer, we’ve already got an international trailer for its sequel. The original, directed by Safe House helmer, told three connected tales centered on drug-running and those running them, most especially on the young man who runs coke for a dangerous dealer.

It starred Joel Kinnaman (The Killing), who returns for another go-around in the planned trilogy, while Espinosa stays on as producer and gives the reigns over to Babak Najafi. One can see the first trailer below for the film based on Jens Lapidus‘ novels, while I eagerly wait to see the original this summer, if only to witness how Espinosa and Kinnaman got their Hollywood break-outs.

Snabba Cash (a.k.a. Easy Money) hits theaters July 27th, 2012 while its sequel hits overseas in August.
