Just as I was surprised to learn that Underworld is in its fourth iteration, the Resident Evil series has somehow reached its fifth film. Hitting theaters this fall, we have the first teaser Paul W.S. Anderson‘s Resident Evil: Retribution. Don’t be alarmed at the first few minutes of the Sony commercial, as it is is part of the teaser. Starring Milla Jovovich, Kevin Durand, Michelle Rodriguez and Jason Isaacs, it looks as big and dumb as the previous films, which should please fans. While I enjoyed the first film, I haven’t caught up with the rest and with the director’s track record, it isn’t looking likely. Synopsis:
Alice fights alongside a resistance movement in the continuing battle against the Umbrella Corporation and the undead.
