Frank Langella Hires Wes Bentley In Trailer For ‘The Time Being’

With the vast number of premieres on the fall festival circuit, it’s too easy for a great number of films to get lost in the shuffle. One such work was the directorial debut of Nenad Cicin-Sain, the drama titled The Time Being. Featuring Wes Bentley as a struggling artist who comes across millionaire Frank Langella, who then hires the American Beauty actor for some mysterious initiatives, the first trailer has now landed today. This new director shows off an impressive visual style, but some responses from its TIFF premiere says the story doesn’t quite match up. Check out the trailer and poster below, also featuring the great Sarah Paulson and House of CardsCorey Stoll.

Synopsis:

Daniel (Wes Bentley) is a struggling young artist whose ambitions have pushed his marriage to the brink. When a reclusive millionaire named Warner (Frank Langella) purchases one of his pieces, he hopes for additional commissions from a new benefactor. Instead, Werner offers him a series of increasingly bizarre surveillance assignments. As Daniel starts to unravel the secrets behind the requests, he must determine if Warner is out to further his career or ruin his life.

The Time Being opens on July 26th in theaters and hits VOD three days prior.
