15 years later, Derek Zoolander and his ridiculous good looks are back. After a brief teaser without any actual footage, Paramount have now released a full-length trailer with shows off the returning cast and a handful of new faces. Once again directed Ben Stiller, this time the script is by Justin Theroux, who worked with Stiller on the immensely funny Tropic Thunder.
As for the story, “It’s ten years later and most of it is set in Europe,” Stiller tells Empire. I don’t want to give away too much, but it’s basically Derek and Hansel ten years later – though the last movie ended on a happy note a lot of things have happened in the meantime. Their lives have changed and they’re not really relevant anymore. It’s a new world for them.”
