“You, Frankenstein?” “Yes. I, Frankenstein.” Sadly, that quote isn’t in the overly serious, CGI-filled trailer for I, Frankenstein, and we doubt it’ll be in the full feature, but it would certainly make this early 2014 action thriller seem a whole lot more fun. If the January release wasn’t a warning sign already, this effort from Stuart Beattie (was Stephen Sommers busy?) looks to be a mix of Underworld (no surprise, considering it’s from the same producers) and a mish-mash of every other offering the tired genre has to offer. Starring Aaron Eckhart, Bill Nighy, Yvonne Strahovski, Miranda Otto and Jai Courtney, check it out below and if you have a reason to actually be anticipating this one, please share.
