New photos have emerged from the sets of both Hick and The Ides of March. The former shows star Chloe Moretz, while the latter has both star George Clooney and some pop-culture riffing going on.

Hick stars Moretz in the lead, with support coming from Juliette Lewis, Blake Lively and Alec Baldwin. It has the young actress playing a girl who runs away from home, but soon encounters trouble when she meets a “cocaine snorting grifter” in Las Vegas, and is raped in a motel room. It’s directed by Derick Martini, and you can see our first real look at it below, right alongside another first look.

The Ides of March, directed and starring George Clooney, based on the play Farragut North by Beau Willimon, which features Ryan Gosling as a young political press spokesperson who gets caught up with the scandals of Clooney’s presidential candidate. Co-starring is Paul Giamatti, Marisa Tomei and Evan Rachel Wood. The obvious pop culture riff is the poster in the background, which is a take on the popular Obama campaign poster from several years ago.

Check both photos out below:

The Ides of March opens in theaters on October 14th, 2011.
