Harvey Weinstein may top the list of most infamous marketer and producer in Hollywood, known for piloting dramas such as Shakespeare in Love and The King’s Speech to Best Picture over possibly more deserving winners, but his Our Idiot Brother star Paul Rudd has some marketing plans of his own.

With his indie comedy hitting theaters at the end of the month, the actor lays all his ideas down on the table from re-branding the film Our Idiot Brother: The Hangover, Borat to having a meet and greet with every single person the world. Check out all of his bold ideas below via Funny or Die in today’s Daily Distraction. You can also see our positive Sundance review here and the trailer here.

Synopsis:

Ned Rochlin (Paul Rudd) is a kindhearted and clueless man who gets himself thrown in jail for “sympathetically” offering some weed to a uniformed police officer. When he is released, his girlfriend kicks him out and forces him to live off the generosity of his three sisters (Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Deschanel, and Emily Mortimer) and mother, whose stressful, ambitious lives are far from compatible with Ned’s laid-back and sunny approach. The harder Ned tries to spread joy and love, the more trouble he causes.

Starring Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Deschanel, Rashida Jones, Emily Mortimer, Adam Scott, Steve Coogan, T.J. Miller, Kathryn Hahn, Hugh Dancy and Janet Montgomery, the film hits theaters on August 26th, 2011.
