Although they couldn’t be more different — one a laidback, black-and-white road trip drama, the other a vibrant, dark thriller — we’re greatly anticipating both Alexander Payne‘s Nebraska and Ridley Scott‘s The Counselor. As the former prepares for a NYFF showing ahead of a November release and the latter is gearing up for a bow next month, today brings new clips from both.

First up, following yesterdays’ trailer premiere, we’ve got two pieces of footage from Payne’s film, which follows a father (Bruce Dern) and son (Will Forte) on a road trip to claim a prize, with one featuring a scene with Breaking Bad‘s Bob Odenkirk. Then we have yet another clip from the Cormac McCarthy-penned drama, which finds Cameron Diaz and Penelope Cruz having a chat. Check them all out below. [Digital Spy/NYFF]

The Counselor opens on October 25th and Nebraska hits on November 15th.
