Following the debut of a new clip featuring Michael Fassbender and Javier Bardem last week, another new look at Ridley Scott‘s The Counselor has arrived, removing the Shame star from the equation and adding Cameron Diaz. Considering her recent batch of less-than-inspiring roles in films such as Bad Teacher and What to Expect What You’re Expecting, we were curious if she had the chops to deliver Cormac McCarthy‘s words. Judging from this clip via Yahoo, in which her character of Malkina shares a drink a drink with Bardem’s Reiner, it seems as though she’ll do just fine. Check out the clip below and a batch of international character posters from FilmStarts for the film also starring Brad Pitt and Penelope Cruz.
The Counselor opens on October 25th.
