Watch: ‘Holy Motors’ Expands Purview with Two New Clips

Written by on October 22, 2012

Only some three days after Holy Motors landed on our doorstep with a new trailer, Leos Carax‘s head-spinning picture has opened itself a bit further with two clips. And, while everyone who’s seen the film would probably deem it one that doesn’t warrant these brief, out-of-context moments, they might be worthwhile simply for holding you over.

As I plan to see Motors in the very-near-future, however, yours truly only skimmed through either piece to get some idea as to the content. One’s a musical number delivered by co-star Kylie Minogue, all as lead Denis Lavant looks on; the second is a more traditional sequence, showing the latter’s character, Oscar, in transit from one assignment to the other. I’m liking the tone and vibe of both, so it’ll be nice to finally see these in their proper spots. I’ve heard what comes before and after is pretty good, too.

Watch them below:

Holy Motors is currently playing in New York City and will expand in the coming weeks.

Are you on board with Carax’s vision here?
