Out of all the films paraded around this past weekend at Comic-Con, the one that secured our greatest attention was Alfonso Cuarón‘s space epic Gravity. While we wouldn’t want to see any extended footage until we’re in the theaters, a clip Warner Bros. showed off seemed to garner the highest praise from crowds. But if you didn’t make it to San Diego, we’ve now got the entire panel in full, featuring the director, Sandra Bullock and producer David Heyman.

The biggest takeaway was the discussion of the technology used, as Bullock was outfitted in a 9 x 9 cube in which a camera could move at 25mph on a rig going from far away to within inches of her face. The Children of Men director also talked about his love for Steven Spielberg‘s Duel, and how he compares the high-tension thrills in Gravity to that feature and much more. Check out the complete 22-minute panel below thanks to GeekNation (note that the audio is not from a direct feed, but one can make out the conversation for the most part), as well as Steven Spielberg’s Duel in full.

Also starring George Clooney, Gravity opens on October 4th.
