Following a Cannes premiere, Jim Jarmusch‘s vampire tale Only Lovers Left Alive recently made a stop at Toronto International Film Festival and will be checking in at New York Film Festival. Despite the extensive tour, it won’t actually be hitting screens until 2014, but today brings some new stills to tide us over. While the cast also includes Mia Wasikowska, John Hurt, Anton Yelchin and Jeffrey Wright, these photos center on Tom Hiddleston and Tilda Swinton, two hopelessly romantic individuals in the most unexpected of settings.

We were major fans of the film at Cannes (full review), saying, “Minimal in style, yet bleeding with coolness, this is perhaps the most unusual and restrained vampire movie in recent memory, primarily because Jarmusch is less concerned with the violent thirst for blood and other typical cliches associated with this sub-genre of mythology.”  As we await a firm release date and trailer, check out the new photos above and below, along with a 20-minute video of the Toronto International Film Festival premiere intro and Q&A.
