With the arrival of the acclaimed sci-fi thriller Coherence this week, we’re thrilled to partner with Oscilloscope Laboratories to not only premiere a set of variant posters from the film, but also give away a pair. Detailed below, one can see all the alternate one-sheets (click each for high-resolution) and those who can rearrange their brains and spot the most differences will be taking one home. The mind-bending new science fiction thriller COHERENCE hits theaters on June 20th, but The Film Stage is the only place you’ll find all eight variant posters for James Ward Byrkit‘s award-winner, which Badass Digest calls, “hands down, the best sci-fi film of the past few years!”
On the night of an astronomical anomaly, eight friends at a dinner party experience a troubling chain of reality bending events. Part cerebral sci-fi and part relationship drama, COHERENCE is a tightly focused, intimately shot film whose tension intensely ratchets up as its numerous complex mysteries unfold.
Oscilloscope Laboratories and The Film Stage invite you to explore the film’s eight beautiful variant dinner table posters, which, while similar, differ in countless ways – both big and small.
The two eagle-eyed readers able to point out the most differences (and there are a LOT), will be given one variant poster of their choice… but these bad boys are special. Only one of each poster was ever printed – so our two winners will each be taking home a very special one-of-a-kind COHERENCE keepsake.
Readers can submit via email (contests(at)thefilmstage.com) until midnight EST on June 19th. The contest’s two winners will be announced on June 20th, to celebrate the film’s theatrical release.
COHERENCE stars Nicholas Brendon, Emily Foxler, Maury Sterling, Elizabeth Gracen, Alex Manugian (who conceived of the story), Lauren Maher, Hugo Armstrong and Lorene Scafaria. It was written and directed by James Ward Byrkit.
Contestants must 18 years or older, and be citizens of and reside in The United States of America.
